Steven is one of the first names that comes to mind when thinking about prolific directors. He’s one of the few directors that almost everyone has heard of. His movies are also some of the biggest of all time. Who hasn’t at least heard of Jaws or Jurassic Park? His secret is a willingness to collaborate. He knows it takes a village to make a film. He isn’t going to force any one crew member to behave a certain way but accepts anything as long as it’s in the best interest of the film.
This makes Steven a favorite choice for actors to work with. It’s not just about his reputation. It’s about how well he collaborates with them. There are some who managed to be in long and successful franchises because of how well they worked with the famous director. What would Indiana Jones be without Harrison Ford or Jurassic Park without Jeff Goldblum? It brings up the question of who Steven’s favorite actors are.
