Dolly’s Grandmother had never left their hometown in Tennessee and Dolly herself was just a young girl, so when they got turned around they found it extremely difficult to ask for help.

They were told they had to wait overnight in order to catch the next bus that was going where they needed. Dolly vividly remembers comforting her crying Grandmother in the bus station overnight.
