Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian is the oldest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Growing up, she went to a Los Angeles-based high school for girls. After graduating, she moved to Texas to attend Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Later, she transferred to the University of Arizona. She graduated with a degree in Theater Arts, and she minored in Spanish. She and her brother, Rob, and the only two members of the family who attended college.
Public Eye
The family’s first time in the public eye was after OJ Simpson was accused of killing his former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Kourtney’s father, Robert Kardashian, was OJ’s best friend, and part of his defense team. This caused issues in the family. Kourtney’s mother, Kris Jenner, believed that Simpson was guilty of killing Nicole, who was her best friend. This caused a rift in the family that took years to repair. During this time, Kourtney and her family got their first taste of celebrity.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians
When Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the family’s reality show began, Kourtney and her sisters became household names. At the time, she and her sisters were running their own store in Calabasas called DASH. The show follows the family’s life, and also Kourtney’s long-term relationship with her then-boyfriend, Scott Disick. The two met shortly before the show started through Girls Gone Wild creator, Joe Francis. They were both at his party together in 2006 and started dating.
Kourtney and Scott
Kourtney and Scott dated for several years but never married. They have a troubled relationship at times due to Scott’s hard-partying. His partying ways seemed to slow down after the birth of their first son, Mason. Unfortunately, he soon returned to his old ways, but Kourtney stayed by his side. In 2012, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Penelope. In 2014, they welcomed their third child, a son, Reign. Things began to spiral for the couple when Scott’s mother died in 2013; then his father died in 2014. These two tragedies occurring so close to each other caused Scott’s drinking and partying to increase. He admits that losing his parents at a very young age made him angry, which fueled his drinking.
Trying to get his life back on track, Scott went to rehab. Unfortunately, he relapsed. After news of his relapse and his partying with another woman, Kourtney ended the relationship for good. The couple remained close for their children, and they are very successful in co-parenting their children. After things ended, Kourtney began dating again, and Scott started a long-term relationship with model, Sophia Richie.
Healthy Living
Kourtney developed a healthy living lifestyle. She eats all-natural foods that are gluten-free. Also, she uses chemical-free beauty and skincare products. She used her passion for healthy living to create POOSH, which is Kourtney’s brand and lifestyle website. She also has a passion for interior decorating.
A Busy Life
Between her children, family, work, and the family’s reality show, Kourtney is a very busy woman. This means that she has people in and out of her home all day. She has helped with her children, people who clean her home, assistants, and security coming in an out of the house all the time. She thought that she could trust the people she was allowing in her home, but unfortunately, someone betrayed her trust.
A Robbery
Kourtney Kardashian said that she’d been robbed, so she dramatically confronted the alleged culprit. In 2019, she discovered that things were missing from her home. She says that someone took $700 from her wallet; they stole $4,500 from Scott and an iPad. This was upsetting for Kourtney because the person who stole from her was someone in her home who she trusted.
Violated
This isn’t the first time that a member of her family had been violated. Someone hacked into the cloud and stole photos from Kris Jenner’s closet cam. Her sister Kendall was stalked repeatedly. Her sister, Khloe’s home, was robbed shortly before she sold the house that she shared with her ex-husband, Lamar, and her sister Kim was robbed at gunpoint. Having their belongings and personal space violated is not uncommon in the Kardashian-Jenner family.
Someone She Trusts
When Kourtney realized that someone had stolen from her, she went to speak to her on-site security team. They mentioned one of her staff members being caught in Kourtney’s office with a flashlight twice. Kourtney also noticed that the woman was behaving strangely. She knew who the culprit was, and was livid. This woman had contact with her children all the time, while she was stealing from the family. When Kourtney went to confront the employee was working downstairs at the time, she saw her speeding out of the driveway. Kourtney was even more upset when she discovered that the woman had been going through her phone. Since she keeps plenty of personal conversations and information on her phone, she panicked. She immediately started giving her assistant instructions to do damage control and says that her trust in others has been destroyed.
