Ben Stiller

Stiller and Taylor met on the sets of Heat Vision, a TV show that never really made it to the air. In an interview, Stiller admitted that it was love at first sight for him. The couple started dating and about a year later, they tied the knot in Kauai, Hawaii. Next year, Ben and Christine starred in Zoolander. In 2002, Taylor gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Ella and in 2004, the two appeared together in Dodgeball. The next year, Ben and Christine became parents to an adorable boy named Quinn. However, the fans were surprised when the two announced their separation in 2017 after 17 years of marriage. However, the couple reunited soon after as they realized they couldn’t live without one another. Isn’t that adorable?

Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins

Susan and Robbin met in 1986, on the sets on Bull Durham. In this 1988-film, Robbin played Nuke LaLoosh, an ambitious baseball player and Susan played Annie Savoy, a baseball groupie. Both Susan and Robbin were lapsed Catholics and held liberal political views and therefore, sparks went flying immediately. More importantly, it was also an instant union of minds. Susan and Robin were a politically active couple throughout. In 2000, the two supported the candidacy of Ralph Nader for Presidency, and in 2003, they actively rallied against the Iraq War. Unfortunately, after 23 years of companionship, the couple decided to part ways. They have two sons together.

Will Smith gained popularity when he was cast as himself in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a sitcom he did between 1990 and 1996. Jada Pinkett had auditioned for the role of Smith’s girlfriend but she did not get the part as she was too short. However, Jada Pinkett bagged the role of Lena James in A Different World and that is when she caught Will’s attention. However, Smith was married at the time. In 1995, Will decided that he wasn’t in the right relationship and therefore, filed for separation from his then-wife Sheree Fletcher.

Thereafter, Jada and Will entered a relationship and with Jada becoming pregnant in 1997, the two decided to get married the same year. Together, they have a son, Jaden, and a daughter, Willow. In 2016, Will and Jada separated but did not make any announcements. During this time, Jada became ‘entangled’ with August Alsina. However, in 2020, the couple announced that they are together and cannot live without each other. This is a couple that has seen it all and stayed together!

Courtney Cox and David Arquette

Courtney Cox and David Arquette met on the sets of Scream. In the film, Arquette played Deputy Dewey Riley, the timid sheriff, and Cox played Gale Weathers, a rude and ruthless reporter. In an interview, Arquette accepted that while it was love at first sight for him, Cox wasn’t so impressed by him. He, therefore, worked really hard to make her fall for him. All that hard work paid off in 1998 when Arquette proposed to Cox and she accepted. The two tied the knot next year in 1999. Five years later, in 2004, Cox and Arquette became proud parents to a baby girl named Coco. Unfortunately, the couple announced their separation in 2010, after 11 years of marriage.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are two stars who have mastered the art of trolling — the social-media banter between the two is always super hilarious. This is also the couple that draws the most attention on the red carpet. However, when Reynolds met Lively in July 2010, Reynolds was still married to Scarlett Johansson and Lively was dating her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley. However, Lively broke up with Badgley in September 2010 and Reynolds separated from Johansson in December 2010. In October of 2011, the two confirmed that they are dating and next year, the two surprised everyone when they tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony and two years later, the couple announced their pregnancy. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are happily married and have three beautiful daughters together.

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling

We all love The Notebook and therefore, fans of the film were always rooting for Noah and Allison. However, not many people know that when Gosling and McAdams started shooting for the film, they absolutely disliked working with each other so much so that Gosling asked the film’s director Nick Cassavetes to cast someone else in Alison’s role. For the sake of the film, the two decided to not let their personal opinion of each other affect their work. However, things changed in 2005, when Gosling and McAdams sparked rumors of a romance by kissing at the MTV Movie Awards. However, their romance didn’t last long and the two separated in 2007. They gave their relationship another chance in 2008 but what’s not meant to be won’t ever be.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan met on the sets of Step Up in 2006. They liked each other and therefore, started dating. However, the couple decided to take things slowly and dated for three years before tying the knot in 2009 in Malibu, California. In 2013, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan became parents to a beautiful daughter who they decided to name Everly Elizabeth Maiselle Tatum. Unfortunately, the couple announced their separation in 2018, after nine years of marriage. The same year, Jenna Dewan announced that she is in a relationship with Steve Kazee.

Miley Cyrus met Liam Hemsworth in 2009 while shooting for The Last Song, a film based on Nicholas Spark’s best-selling novel. However, this was an on and off relationship with Miley dating other actors in between. Miley and Liam announced their engagement in May 2012, but they broke off the engagement in 2013, after which Miley dated Patrick Schwarzenegger and Dane Cook. Miley and Liam rekindled their romance in March 2016, re-engaged in October 2016, and got married on December 23, 2018. However, the two separated once again in 2019. Phew! We have had a hard time keeping up with the timeline on this one.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt

In 1994, Brad Pitt began dating actress Gwyneth Paltrow while shooting for the film Se7ev. This couple was quite serious and therefore, they became engaged in 1996. They were one of the hottest couples of the time and Pitt did not shy away from telling the world that Gwyneth was the love of his life. However, trouble soon erupted in their paradise, and Paltrow and Pitt parted ways only after six months of engagement. In an interview, Gwyneth told the world that Brad was too good for her. Isn’t that sweet!

If you were a fan of Twilight, you would remember the immense love as well as the immense scrutiny that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson when through wherever they went. They were the most renowned fictional couple at the time and everybody wanted them to hook up and eventually, they did hook up too. However, their love did not last long. In 2012, pictures of the actress cozying up to her Snow White and the Huntsman director hit the tabloids. Kristen and Robert tried to rekindle their romance in 2013 but things did not work out. Chris Pratt met Anna Faris in 2007 on the sets of Take me Home Tonight. There was instant love and the couple became engaged in 2008. Pratt and Faris eloped and got married in Bali, Indonesia in 2009. After getting married, they made Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles, California, their home. The couple became pregnant with their first child in 2012. Unfortunately, the two filed for separation in 2017 and finalized the terms of their divorce in 2018.

Though theirs was a short-lived romance, it was one that created quite a stir. Lopez met Afflick on the sets of Gigli. At the time, she was married to Cris Judd. However, she soon announced her separation from Judd, and in November of 2002, the couple announced their engagement. In 2003, Gigli hit the theatres and tanked at the box office. The viewers thought Lopez and Afflick had no real chemistry. Afflick then appeared in Jennifer Lopez’s hit single Jenny From the Block. The couple was to tie the knot in 2003. Unfortunately, a few days before their big day, they decided to call it quits. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Afflick’s relationship was a roller coaster ride for the couple as well as for the audiences.

Of course, we had to have Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on this list. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt met on the sets of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and sparks went flying everywhere. Rumors, too, immediately started doing the rounds. Eventually, Brad Pitt accepted to being in love with Jolie. The problem was he was still married to Jennifer Anniston. A battle ensued between Team Jennifer Anniston and Team Angelina Jolie, with most opinions favoring Anniston over Jolie. However, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie didn’t care. Jennifer Anniston filed for divorce in 2005, after five years of marriage.

Three months later, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt announced their pregnancy. They also changed Angelina Maddox and Zahara’s name to Jolie-Pitt. In 2014, after years of speculation, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finally tied the knot in France. Unfortunately, after spending more than a decade together, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt filed for divorce in 2016. However, the couple is yet to finalize their divorce.
