#1 Putting a Key On a Ring

It can be hard to get a key on a ring. It is painful and you can easily break a nail. The fastest and easiest way to put a key on the ring is to use a staple remover. Simply put the staple remover between the ring to open it up. You should be able to slip your keys on easily.

#2 Dry Erase Board Mirror

If you don’t have a dry erase board but you want to be able to leave messages for your family, you can use your mirror. If you use a dry erase marker, it will come off as easily as if you used a dry erase board. Just be sure not to use permanent marker because it won’t come off. The bathroom mirror is a great place to leave messages since everyone will end up in the bathroom at one point or another.

#3 Create a Straw Holder

If you have ever tried to drink soda with a can, you know that the straw doesn’t always stay in. The gas from the carbonation can push the straw up out of the can. To keep this from happening, you simply need to turn the tab around over the opening in the can. When you put your straw through the hole, it will keep the straw in the can.

#4 Quickly Cool Down a Warm Drink

If you have a warm drink that you need to be ice cold on a hot day, you don’t need to wait hours while it cools off in the refrigerator. You can actually make the drink ice cold in just 15 minutes by using a wet paper towel. All you need to do is wrap the drink in the wet paper towel and put it in the freezer. In 15 minutes, it will be cold enough to drink.

#5 Store Your T-Shirts On Their Sides

Most people load their t-shirt drawer by putting the shirts on top of each other. This is wrong. When you are looking for a specific shirt, you can end up making a mess of your drawers. The best way to load your drawers is to put the shirts on their sides. Not only will you be able to see all of your shirts without moving them, it will also help you save space.

#6 Eating Pringles

Pringles are a great snack until you get to the end of the container. If your hand isn’t small enough to fit into the container, you would need to rip it open to get to the last few chips. If you are doing this, you are eating your Pringles wrong. The Pringles package was designed so that you can slide the silver lining of the can out. This lets you pull all of the chips out so you won’t need to fit your hand in the bottom of the can.

#7 Peeling a Banana

Most people peel their banana from the top, starting with the stem. Some bananas are harder to peel than others. If you have a tough banana, you will end up breaking it before you get to eat it. The safest way to peel a banana is to start at the bottom. This will prevent the banana from breaking and you will easily be able to get the peel off.

When little kids hold their juice boxes, it is not uncommon for them to squeeze it too hard and the juice spills out from the straw. If you want to keep your child from spilling their juice, you simply need to lift the tabs on the sides. The child can use the tabs as a handle, preventing a spill from occurring.

If you want easy access to your spoon while you are cooking, you can slide it right into the panhandle. If there is food on the spoon that can drip, you can let it hover over the pan which will prevent you from making a mess.

This is one of the most common things you’ve been doing wrong your whole life. Chicken wings are delicious but eating them can be a hassle. Many people hate trying to eat the meat around the bones. If you want to avoid the hassle, all you need to do is grab the two bones, twist them at the same time, and pull them apart. This will leave you with nothing but meat in your hand.

#11 Cutting a Cake

If you are going to cut a cake and you don’t think that you will finish the entire thing, you should cut the first piece from the middle. When you have served all of the cake, you would simply need to push the two ends together. This will keep the middle of the cake moist for the next time that you want a piece.

#12 Protect Your Phone At the Beach

Instead of buying an expensive, waterproof case for your phone just for one trip to the beach, all you need is a ziplock bag. It will keep your phone dry and you won’t need to worry about wasting your money on an expensive case.

#13 Cutting Tomatoes

Cutting tomatoes can be messy. To avoid the mess, put your tomatoes between two plates. Using a sharp knife, cut through the gap in the plate and it will prevent a big mess.

#14 Eating Chinese Takeout

The cardboard containers that Chinese takeout comes in is designed to be opened up and turned into a plate. Since you cannot fold the container up after, make sure that you are going to eat everything in the container.

#15 Eating a Popsicle

Popsicles are great until they start melting and the juice drips all over your hands. To keep this from happening, poke a cupcake wrapper through the stick and wrap it around the Popsicle. This will keep anything from dripping when the Popsicle starts to melt.

#16 Chill Your Wine

If you like chilled wine but you hate when the ice melts and waters down the wine, this trick can help. Put grapes in the freezer and use them as ice cubes. When they start to melt, they won’t water down your wine.
